School Development Plan
Our Key Priorities this year and how you can support at home are:
Continue to develop Mathematics across the school.
Our Deputy Headteacher, Mrs E. Jones, has completed her Lead Mastery Specialist training for the National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics (NCETM). She is one of around 700 primary specialists working across the country and having her expertise in school is brilliant for us!
All children from Year 2 onwards have access to TT RockStars from any computer, tablet or phone, regular practice in this will support children with their Mathematics.
We also use Doodle to support children in Mathematics from Year 1 onwards. The children will have brought home a letter with the log in details but if not please ask your child's class teacher for this information.
If you would like to find out more about this approach please follow this link.
Ensure all children make good progress in Writing.
Encouraging children to read regularly at home and listening to them read is a really important way for parents to support their children whether they are in Reception or Year 6 and hugely benefits their writing.
Ensure all children are happy and regularly attending school.
We want to support parents in partnership to ensure children are happy and regularly attending school. If you have any concerns about your child's wellbeing or attendance please contact Mrs Andrea Keith, Mrs Ellie Jones or Mrs Holly Stonehouse.
Introduce a new PSHE curriculum
We are introducing a new PSHE curriculum to further embed our strong curriculum that supports in developing children's emotional wellbeing.
